Please note that the SACAA has updated the ATPL General Navigation exam to include Jeppesen chart questions. They have also made changes to other sections.
Please review the new questions under NEW Chart Questions on Aeroversity. More questions will be added as we receive more feedback. Please remember to share your exam feedback to help us gather all the new questions and to assist those writing after you.
Wrote ATP Nav last week Monday. I was taken completely by surprise when I had to plot on a jeppesen chart and CAA did not provide a physical copy of the chart, so I had to plot on the computer screen. Of the 35 questions in the exam I got 10 of these plotting questions.
Luckily Aeroversity is doing their best to keep their question bank up to date. Use this forum so that we can help Aeroversity and each other.
Does any one have any tips on doing the plotting practice questions without a physical copy of the charts. Can not zoom in on the charts on the Aeroversity website
If you’re accessing content on a laptop, you can adjust the zoom level for better visibility. Use your mousepad gestures, the Ctrl + Scroll feature on your mouse, or the zoom function in your browser settings. We acknowledge this may be inconvenient and are working on a solution for these chart questions.
Additionally, we strongly recommend purchasing the Jeppesen chart as part of your study materials. This will become particularly important once graph-based questions are reintroduced to the exam.
